During 1977 there was a huge cyclone that affected DIVISEEMA... In Diviseema mainly the villages Avanigadda, Koduru, Nagayalanka, Mopidevi, Challapalli severly affected due to strome.. Nearly 5000 people have died in the cyclone..There was a huge loss of property... All leaders came to Diviseema and gave some courage to the victims...Mainly Mandali Venkata Krishna Rao the leader of Diviseema and collector AVS REDDY took active part in helping the victims...All the places are completely filled with dead bodies and navy came to here to clean the dead bodies...There was no power..It took nearly 1 week to clear the Dead bodies..Its a huge strom And it was a bad rememberance to the Diviseema people,..
